Free diabetes checks; hearing, vision and dental screenings; HIV testing; and drug and alcohol counseling are just the beginning of Saturday’s Community Health Fair and Family Carnival at Luis Muñoz Marín Elementary School in Cleveland.
The health fair, sponsored by the Scranton Road Ministries Community Development Corporation, will also offer lunch, massages, Zumba, and more.
The fair will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the school at Scranton Road and Castle Avenue.
Activities for children include a climbing wall, arts and crafts and carnival games. Kids can also take home free health and school supplies while they last.
There will be a fee for some services, including flu and pneumonia shots, if they’re not covered by your insurance. Bring your insurance card if you want to take advantage of those.
