President Barack Obama has nominated Peter C. Tobin to be the new U.S. Marshal for the Southern District of Ohio. Tobin has worked in law enforcement for four decades, starting as a patrol officer with the Columbus Police Department.
The Senate will have to confirm the nomination.
The post is currently held by interim U.S. Marshall Patrick J. Sedoti.
