The poll done for Kilroy showed her leading the Democratic field with 48% almost two months before the March 6 primary.
State Rep. Ted Celeste got 17%, and former state House Minority Leader Joyce Beatty received 14% in the survey.
Republicans redrew the third district in redistricting earlier this year to make it a safe Democratic seat based in urban Columbus. No current Members live in the district.
Benenson Strategy Group conducted the survey of 400 likely Democratic primary voters Jan. 9-11. The margin of error was 4.9 points.
